Dorset Design (that works)

Simply a nice packaging design that is seducing a lot of people to buy this cereal for breakfast.
I mean, can you blame them? (I’ve done the same…)
Love the colours, the graphics & the typography.

Someone is about to enter the stage…

A new shop is about to open in Covent Garden. Wonder which one it is?

Such ideas make me smile!

I’ve got the Knack

Sunday, July 4th, 2010

Futurising is over for now, and turned out to be two days filled with fun, new contacts and inspiration. The Knack team was distributing Knack Magazine, invited graduates to our video booth for live business card recording and encouraged people to give their employment tips in our pin board. We also had the best team of photojournalists and journalists to attend Futurising talks and report live on our Futurising/Knack blog.

Business cards and badges for everybody!

Our banner!

Journalist Charlotte with Knack t-shirt, and the Knack flyer.

A digital print replica of Knack Magazine can be found here.

Thank you for now, Knack team!

(and watch out, our interactive magazine is launched soon!)

Inspiration at LCC

Friday, June 25th, 2010

Occasionally, LCC students showcase their work at the university. I just wanted to show you some photos from today’s inspiring coffee break.

The current exhibition is set up by BA (Hons) Graphic & Media Design.

Have a nice and colourful weekend in the hot weather!

Working with Futurising

Friday, June 25th, 2010

Graduates from all over UK are getting ready for the Futurising festival that is taking place 29.–30.6 in Shoreditch, London. The festival is led by LCC on behalf on University of Arts London, and is a one-stop shop of opportunities, advice and information for all future and current creative graduates.
I’m lucky to be involved in one of the activities at the event, called ‘Knack at the Shack’. The project is described like this in the Futurising website:

Knack is placed at the core of Futurising, a two-day festival supporting the career development of students and graduates in the creative fields. Knack invites Futurising attendees to express who they are while participating in the creation of an interactive digital magazine and blog. Participants will have an opportunity to display their talents and contribute ideas and works to a larger audience, and to pick up their free copy of the printed Knack Magazine.

Because I’m Knack’s art director, I’ve been responsible of designing Knack Magazine and all the event material. I’ve also been involved in ideas and planning for the whole Knack project.

The magazine is already sent to print, and we are excited to get it back!
