…is spent in the library at LCC. With my mac, and a mocha. Word, Evernote and Safari are my friends. Three weeks to go before the deadline is here, and I have to finish in time before the paper is sent for proofreading next week. At this stage I’m writing up the findings, and I’m glad that the survey and the interview I had with August Media really gave me some new discoveries. To be continued! Meanwhile, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend, maybe with more relaxing activities?

The questionnaire answers for my master’s dissertation is about to be analysed. The overall aim of my research is to conduct research exploring the question ‘How can customer publishers can use social media to effectively increase their client’s brand value?’ – and I’ve already collected over 300 responses for the survey.

To all contributors who spent their time answering my survey – A MILLION THANKS TO YOU!

I would never be able to finish my dissertation without you. It’s practically a month left, and it’s about time to look at what you’ve answered and make conclusions on the topic. An exciting time! Today I took a coffee break in Clapham High Street with the survey result safely placed in my bag – intending to try one of the caramel macchiatos at Starbucks. Instead I found a cute little café in the same street, with lots of personality. Nice surroundings – good results? ;-)

…there’s a long and winding road.
My master dissertation is due in October, and the first steps are already taken. My mixed interests in editorial, design and advertising have lead me to the decision of writing about customer magazines and their challenges in the new digital era. How should the customer publisher adapt their content to different platforms to increase the brand value? Should the customer magazines embrace new platforms, and how could they possible help the brands to reach new customers? These are the questions I’m working on now.

Dear customer, what do you think?
